Vanilla planifolia 'Albo-Marginata', The Variegated Vanilla Bean Orchid
The only orchid with a commercial importance, the source of the vanilla beans we use for flavoring. This variety has beautiful white variegation in the leaves. Grows as a vine in soil or sphagnum moss blooms with Cattleya like flowers that when pollinated form long seed pods that are harvested and are the Vanilla beans. Grows in bright light but no full sun.
-Shipped in a two and half inch pot, the buyer will receive a plant 2 to 3 inches tall. This plant is two years or more to blooming size.
