Unusual weather brings more misery

Last night we got nearly two inches of rain, all the mud that we had to work in more than a week ago has returned.  I got in ten dump truck loads of fill dirt last week, used most on filling the site for the new greenhouse and the rest to fill in mud holes we created moving cut up trees with the tractor.  Our ground is saturated and will be very difficult for us to work the next few days and to make matters worse we have more cold on the way with freezing temps predicted starting Tuesday night.  This year we have seen the most unusual weather I can ever remember.  Last year we did not have freezing temps til late December and I was really hoping I could make it to the time the new greenhouse would be up the second week in December.  I am praying some of my plants that are still covered with downed trees will survive.
