Hoya compacta 'Jodie's Silver' and Hoya carnosa 'Argentea Princess' were two of our Hoyas that we lost completely in the destruction we suffered from Hurricane Michael in 2019.  I had already sold about 20 pots of the Jodie's Silver but had never sold the Argentea Princess but I had grown a nice one that I gave to my friend Susan Swartzfager.  Susan introduced it to the world and was kind enough to give me a nice cutting back and Susan's friend in Russia, Larisa had purchased some of the Jodie's Silver that I had sold.  I was most surprised and happy last weekend when my friend Bell escorted in a package from Larisa with a H. compacta 'Jodie's Silver' inside.  These two ladies are the kindest people you can find on this planet.  Both Larisa and Susan are expert Hoya growers and if you ever have the opportunity to purchase any of their hoyas you will not be disappointed.
