Tumeric or Curcuma Longa the Curry Ginger.  Easy to grow in shade or sun, Zone 7-10.  Produces thick rhizomes that are deep yellow inside.  Used for a dye as well as medicinal and culinary uses.  Leaves are also eaten in some Asian cuisine. Well rooted plant growing and shipped in a 3 inch pot.
